In this season I am still working out format. Animated gifs are still limited but I was able to use frames with quick meta refreshes to skip to different parts within a pop up window. For a few of the pieces I am using Flash for the first time which I'm still trying to get a handle on. Some of these pieces use formal elements I had started to explore in graduate school two years earlier in 1995, specifically hairline rules and framing imagery in vector shapes. These moves reflect my deep interest in Adobe Illustrator. I am still using some found imagery but am also shooting my own imagery like toy guns and small stop action cityscapes. I'm not that happy with this season and for some reason it was unusually hard for me to revisit it compared to some of the other Volumeone seasons.
